BioI'm a senior at St. Norbert college and studied abroad in Japan for one year. I am working on an East Asian Culture and Society major, and a minor in Theatre. I'm also working to become a professional dancer/actor and want to live and work in Japan after graduation. I realize this means I will probably have to teach English but maybe I'll find something else. So basically besides working my butt off in school in order to graduate on time I'll have to find a few jobs and save every penny so that I can move back to Japan. But I'm now thinking I'll be going to Korea for a year to teach English first before returning to Japan. Either way I'm getting out of the USA.
My favorite activities are dance(ballet and jazz for 10years and am now getting into break, hip-hop, lock, and house which I've been doing for the past 6 months), theatre, singing(but am only ok; karaoke is just fine, but I'm not going to be a pro anytime soon.) I like clubbing and staying out all night, but I also enjoy hanging out with a group of friends and just chilling. I also enjoy reading: books, manga, magazines, etc. I like watching movies and T.V. mostly Japanese and Korean dramas, and really only a few American shows, #1 being Charmed. I enjoy listening to music; usually anything is okay, but I prefer something I can dance to like hip-hop/RB, or best of all KAT-TUN!!(yes I am a proud KAT-TUN fan girl, but I'm not crazy. They inspire me and are very talented artists.)
And just to let you know, I kinda suck at posting regularly. Mostly cause nothing terribly interesting seems to happen in my life. But I guess you could say being in Japan is exciting enough!! I LOVE Japan. I love America too, but that is due in part to family and friends.
